Bridlington P and R - dog friendly beach?

Thought we might take the moho to Bridlington park and ride for the day - are we allowed to walk the dog in on the adjacent beach and any height barrier to worry about?

If you mean the South shore P&R there’s a number to ring to get the attendant to raise the barrier and the beach is dog friendly in front of the P&R right up to the toilets on the prom going towards Brid and all the way in the other direction.

Thank you. Is there a date restriction when it becomes not OK for the dog ?

May to September but the bit I described is always dog friendly, the restrictions only apply from the toilets/kiddies pool on the prom towards the harbour.

You may have to wait a while until they lift the barrier for you.
The park and ride ticket allows up to 5 people to travel on the bus to Brid. There are 2 buses, the P and R bus doesn't accept concession passes but the local buses do. They are pretty frequent.

Dont know if this place is open, but its a couple of miles south of Brid. You can park on the cliff top for a fee and dogs are welcome on the beach. You will probably need your own food and drink.
