We had a ride into Brid on the bikes. It was cold riding through the sea mist blowing in. But the town was clear of mist and very warm in parts. Its not changed much since we were here last year.
But did notice that the chippy restaraunt on the corner near the bus stop was advertising Haddock and chips with a tea or coffee for £13.95.
What? £13.95 for a haddock and chips? Blimey.

That doesn’t beat the place we went to in Swanage last week when we were at the Norden Farm meet, cod, chips, mushy or garden peas, a hot drink, a slice of bread and butter (good quality bread) and a scoop of good quality ice cream £9.99, only on a Friday and not during school holidays (over 60’s)

Thinking back to our Rally? What a good week it was. Steve & Denise's brilliant organisation and the entertainment events were 1st class and they overshadowed the dismal Bridlington weather. Michaela's exercise classes were great. Just what we needed every morning!! Travis put on another really good show. It even got me and Anne up dancing. Great food too. Pie & Mash!! Naughty but nice!!, not to mention the Sausages!!!!! We loved meeting the Bridlington Funsters. What a lovely set of people they are, not to mention their generosity. We are so lucky and others are not so lucky, so the £254.66 that you all raised has been sent to Cancer research. Anne will post a copy of the receipt from the Charity. We must thank Michaela for arranging a collection from the Exercise Class, and of course the individual donations from other generous Bridlington Funsters. Let's hope we are all fit and well this year and ready to do it all again next year?!
