Simon, brace yourself. There is bad news and good news. The bad news is that there are only 2 pubs within walking distance, not 3. The good news is that you can catch the train to Sheffield Park Station and there is a pub in the station.

OMG. Just read that there is a licensed bar at Horsted Keynes that is open during the day at weekends. That I reckon will give you the best alcohol to effort ratio.

As you well know Peter I have been known to walk at least a mile for refreshments of the liquid kind!

It is early days yet and I am sure people will be dropping out once the date is finalised and I start asking for deposits in the autumn.

Having said that I am now sh*****g bricks about it all, given the response and that fact that I have never organised a rally before! So I am afraid one is enough for me for next year.

Very worrying Carol. I should have chosen a less popular venue for organising my first ever rally.
