Building one
Hi,
I am converting a Movano. Having windows added to front side panels and would like some black panels on the rear half of the sides
I have seen them on older campervans but they could have been made by that builder
So, what I want are two black panels with some sort of louvre or vent appearance that will attach to the rear half of the side panels
Any ideas?
Mick

Vinyl wrap will do it.

Just be careful not to leave any bubbles.

Hi
No if I wanted that look I could just mask it off and spray paint it satin black
I want it to look like it possibly has a purpose

Take a leaf out of Land rovers latest... how about a set of panniers? Not sure how practical you are, but you could get them made up in aluminium and fixed to the panels to house tools / cables etc?

Only ones I can think of are the old Autosleeper Symphony and Duetto's...

The one that were around like that back in the day Duetto vw etc were very thin. We did take one and made a plug of it, then a mold for transit convertions rear side window.. (copying the Duetto)
Use on vans I converted then lost over timeas not a lot of call for it.

Charles and sons Poole if still in business was a good suplly of that type as they bought up liquidation stock
supplies.co.uk/charles-son

Emc leisure also made custom bits as well as roof bits

And as priviously mentioned o'lerys

Need to put something there as the vinyl signs have left an outline that won’t mop out
A transfer may have to be the answer but I’ll try a breakers

No vinyl wrap is no better than paint it’s too flat
Acrylic would be better but still not ideal
Apparently vehicle and marine window company in Birmingham used to make them
They did my windows years ago and I think a hi-top in 1988
But they closed down in 2013

My mate had that on his VW in fact he has no windows just glass stuck on
It’s not quite so easy on a Movano as the panels are a bit different
Windows being fitted Thursday so I’ll have a look after that
