Looking for a couple of suggestions for wild camping / pub stop mid wales between snowdonia and south east towards Shrewsbury . Got a 7 metre moho - love views and 2 dogs to walk .

Can wholeheartedly recommend the Brigand Inn on the A458/A470 junction. Stopped there a couple of years ago on way South after climbing Snowdon. Food was great and the car park flat. The roads were quite after dark too so we had a great nights sleep (although some say that might have been due to both the amount of walking and the amount of beer
).
I personally won’t wild in Wales at the mo given the situation. Shame because we do it regular when visiting my grandmother.
