I have 2 leisure batteries on my New Motorhome I’m getting one changed under warranty , I thought they should be changed in pairs ? , the Motorhome is new 2019 model , but the electrical bos stickers have September 2018 on it so I’m assuming the batteries have been installed since then

As they've had very little use I can't see a problem unless the faulty one has been flattening the good one repeatedly.
Even then you won't get the good one replaced just because it MAY be on its way out.

Sounds right to me built in September 18 sat in store till 2019 probably the model didn’t change until later number plate change in September?

I think the batteries have been sat idle for almost 12 months , not good for any batteries, but one is showing low readings (tested by dealer )

It’s definitely 2019 spec not 2018

Test them both yourself and see if they are both ok, if not, ask for both to be changed. They don’t need to be changed together if only one is truly faulty but investigation for proof is the best way forward

its the batteries that have sat in storage then

I reckon there's a simple answer to your question. Your van, albeit a 2019 model, was probably built in the third quarter of 2018, ready for the launch of the 2019 model range in Oct 2018.

The Autotrail Apache 634 comes with a single hab battery as standard so the bad battery will be the original equipment from when the van was built in 2018 and the good battery will be the additional second battery.
