Randomly a guy came up to today and told me that Auutotrail made very few motorhome s on the Merc base,I'm wondering if this is true??
I do know of at least one other regular rally attende ]@middle east driver[

We sold a Cheyenne 660 on a 3.0 Merc Automatic.
Was a great van!

There are quite a few out around, I suspect most owners are happy with them and probably the reason that you don't see too many for sale.

I guess compared to the total of vans they have made then Merc are rare and mostly of a certain vintage.
They do seem to go on forever and well loved by their owners..

Think it was all just down to cost why they stopped using them.
