How difficult can a job to replace a kitchen sink seal really be? It can be two people, two pairs of hands, lots of swearing and prying a rubber seal and sink into the worktop recess difficult, that's how. Then there are those damned clips! Somehow you have to guess where the plastic 'L' shape is so you can tighten the Torx screw with the clip under the work surface to hold down the sink. We even considered pulling the fridge out to get underneath the sink! Until we realised all the gas and electric would need disconnecting.
Next time (if I am unlucky enough to see it), if I used CT1 adhesive, is the sink in there for life? What if I need to get at the tap pigtails?
I swear there is some denomination of deity somewhere laughing their backsides off right now!
It's a Silicone sink seal CRS37, Swift Part apparently, if anybody needs the part.
