Hi all,
new here and could do with some advice. I have a Chausson Allegro 97 and would like to have the gas system altered to the system of having a tank up between the chassis rails.to enable me to fill up the LPG at filling stations. Does anyone know roughly how much this would cost at Autogas 2000? They are not too far from me. Also I am thinking of going for a 60litre tank. Is this big enough? We will be touring the continent for a couple of months at a time so obviously will have to fill up a few times enroute.

Thanks in advance Glenn.

I suggest you click on the advert for Autogas right here on Fun...

I bet they will be able to help!

And as a Funster you will probably get a discount too!

Hi Glenn, they do give a Funster discount and Chris is very knowledgeable. Give him a call (y)

Give them a call and enquire. They won't bite and won't hold you against your will. :winky:
All systems have variations so there is not a "fits all" price as far as I can remember.
Had ours done there and they gave good impartial advice.
They could have done what I was wanting at vast expense, but I listened to them and saved ££££££s. (y)
I have no connection to them, other than being a satisfied customer.

Nearly forgot.
They do give Fun discount.

I have had 2 calls with them today, and many calls in the past. A very helpful and knowledgeable company.

Give Chris a call and he will give prices.

We had a 55l tank (44l @ 80% fill) fitted by Autogas 2000 a few years ago and have found it quite large enough when touring home and abroad. It is approx the size of 2x13Kg propane cylinders and with a dash mounted gauge we just top-up as we need.

I can't speak highly enough of Chris and his staff who give a great service ... we called in last year for a check over which was done for no charge.(y)

Thanks for all the helpful replies. Will give them a call in the next couple of weeks. Wow this site is very useful.

Thanks Again Glenn.
