I know what it is like I lost my professional pilots licences 25 years ago and was branded as a cardiac cripple!!!!!!!!!!!! I have got it back now as a private pilot but the GP will NOT allow me an HGV medical after 70 but sod all he can do at the moment. I am looking for a lighter van NOW so that I can drive around Europe with a manufacturers warranty to help if it goes pear shaped.
And on a similar theme (well done Eddie, by the way)
Those of us, over 70yrs who forgot to ask for their 3500+ to be kept on their licence CAN get it back after the birthday.
All you have to do is the medical and fill out the forms.
wont be buying another van guys for a while as starting renal dialysis soon'ish. If I get a transplant I will be back! (have two family donors who are good matches) problem being the melanoma which kicked me back for 3 years or might have had a transplant already had a scare last week to be honest, waiting for test results as I has cells taken of Friday. These are the breaks guys, live life to the full, i always have. I feel fine funnily enough
just off to drop van to buyer..that a bit sad
Thanks for all the likes I have beaten my previous record!
So much kindness! Sorted insurance out with LV £210. my wife already insured with them. Much cheaper then elsewhere and recognised motorhome no claims ( some dont) pick car up friday morning
