Not really a lover of soft cheeses anyway, but more and more shops seem to be stocking cheese like this.

I love all french cheese but Cantal is excellent to eat but to cook is too greasy. I usually buy Comte to cook .

Had some brie a few months ago, was on the buttermilk chicken burger in Wetherspoons. Was horrible, like a piece of insipid gungey plastic ? not that I've tried plastic before ?

Always take a good supply together with the Branston. Could make a fortune selling the Branston to Brits Abroad who have withdrawal symptons?

Each to his own but English cheeses have won prizes in France, one or two French cheeses are quite pleasant but they are not Stilton etc. name your own.

If we knew who or where many things where made or from many would never 'use' them..........that's why HSBC who took over the old Midland Bank many years ago only used letters or the electric company that is big in the UK, EDF

We holiday in France at least twice a year and adore the cheese's. We always have Cantal, a Brie, a goats and Bleu D'Auvergne..........I love black skin Gouda, Dutch I know but wonderful.
I love Branston pickle but only eat it with cheddar at home.....don't know why, c'est la vie!

Thank the lord for that, I can now get real cheese in France instead of that tasteless soft cheeses that cover every shelf. No doubt it won't last long because the French farmers will have a whinge then go on strike, and rampaging through the stores and chucking it out onto the pavement, or setting fire to it like they did to our lamb, or declare its unfit to eat because of bse or something. Ggrr must stop ranting..... Soon.

VMdO for dinner here, it'll be gone within 5 mins of hitting the table

and just snaffled a TdM with the children as a warm up.
