Just had a call from my daughter who go's to a green listed country in a couple of weeks to say she has been vaccinated with one of the 5 million astra zenica jabs manufactured in india not recognised by the EU.

She will be pleased to read that

Checked this morning and we are OK, but the last thing I heard was that the USA were not allowing entry to people who had had any AZ vaccination as it was not recognised by the relevant authorities in the US.

We are booked to visit in October so are watching in interest.

Yes me, and I'm not particularly happy. Just to add insult I've had a positive Covid test result this morning after my first trip out on public transport Monday to collect my van after a warranty repair. 99% certain I caught it from a young, 3 maybe 4 year old child coughing continually on a train on Monday morning. Some people moved from the carriage, I now wish I had. Aaaaaaarrrrgggg 😠

We keep getting text messages #Grabajab had 4 now. 😁
We had both Pfizer jabs in Spain. 😎 Bob.

Liz had one of the affected AZ jabs. I think they're going to recognise them as otherwise anyone from a country using Indian manufactured vaccine won't be able to get into the countries not allowing entry.

I am one of the 5M and so is my wife.

Only first dose though

I don't think it matters which dose as if they don't recognise one of the jabs you'll never be fully vaccinated. I suppose I could go abroad without her but the fatality rate for that would be way higher than covid!

I know but I read somewhere that if one of the doses was recognised it would be ok.

I don’t care really to be honest, although it seems a nonsense to me.

Yes both me and Mrs Westy have those batch numbers on the first jab😤😤

Hi bobandjanie , have you been able to get the jabs that you had in Spain added to your UK NHS record?

I ask as my brother is in the same situation but had the Moderna vaccine out on Gran Canary and is now back in the UK but not yet spoken to his GP about it.

PM me if you don't want to make a public comment.

Double jabbed, first one in March is one of the 3 batches…😕

Hi Rod, we are deregistered from the UK health system being Spanish residents and not being entitled to cover there, until my state pension kicks in at the end of this year, then the UK cover our health here in Spain, but we have an EU covid passport.
I have seen people ask the question on Citizens advise Spain, having had the first jab in the UK and then moving to Spain, probably better if your brother asks his GP or health centre. 🙂 Bob.

Thanks Bob, I missed the fact that you had a Spanish flag on your avatar, i.e. currently in Spain.
