As title, anyone fitted Underslung to Autoquest (155 or 175 ideally)
If so, DIY or Supplier and how much?

I fitted a 38Ltr Gas-it underslung system on our Autoquest 175.
All the parts were a few quid short of £500.

Can I ask what did you spray the gas tank with ? Thanks.
It's Comma Underbody Seal, a spray on rubberised anti stone to give the tank some protection from road debris that may get thrown up at it.

I was at AS Suspension in Warrington the other week having air suspension fitted and he is a Gas-It agent and he quoted £700 fitted for a 25ltr tank

I'm seriously thinking of the LPG tank but the only thing holding me back is 25ltr (@80% capacity is 10kgs of gas) tank feels a little to small so would need to go to minimum of 38 lrs (@ 80% 15kgs of gas) and locally the lack of places to fill with LPG

I've the Elddis 155 so similar to your 175 under the skin so be interesting to see what your told is the acceptable tank size for you

Aye that is quite a small tank. Mine is 55 litres. Chris at Autogas may well be able to tell you what size you can have fitted.

55 ltr tank is spot on @80% is 22kg of gas which would last me a number of months and take the stress out of running low on gas.

If you look at my post #3 you will see that a 38 ltr is the max you can between the 2 chassis crossmembers behind the silencer box unless you have another space available further back, but certainly on a Autoquest 175 the fresh and grey tanks get in the way.

Thanks for that , I can live with that if it's the biggest tank , 15kgs of gas is more than what I have now with 2 x 6kgs bottles plus frees up the now gas locker.
I've just got to investigate local filling stations , I've travelled around France and Spain and they seem to have plenty of filling points so I'm confident on the continent

I would not get too hung up on having gas local to you as it's easier to find one close to the route your travelling in the UK.
When we came back from Jim's last month, we did a google search and there was an Asda with gas 300 yards off the main road we were going to be travelling on, so topped up there.
The only time I went looking for gas was the first fill after fitting our system.

I have just been having a look under our 175 and would be space between the grey waste tank and the spare wheel for a bigger LPG tank, but it would need a mounting made up to span between the two chassis leg extensions and it would put an awful lot of weight rearward the rear axle.

To be honest, i think 25 litres is plenty big enough
Dont forget, you dont run a refillable empty, you top them up as you go and as opportunity knocks

I fitted a 70 litre underslung tank for just shy of £400. Although I was lucky to source the tank at a very good price.
If DIY I would recommend LPG Shop Leicester for materials. https://www.lpgshop.co.uk/
For professional fitting, another recommendation for Autogas 2000. We had our original refillable bottles fitted there and found their friendly service, advice and workmanship to be excellent. Give them a call, they're always helpful. 01845 523213 E-mail:- shop@autogas.co.uk
Gas-It are okay, pricey in my opinion but I have used them to source individual components.
