I bought one but not put it on ,it will travel in the van with the breathalyser kit and the angle morts stickers . It was only a£1 better to be looking at it than looking for it

Because we've got a pvc, we use a magnetic GB sticker, so now looking for a UK one. Not found yet, although a few companies will make bespoke any design/letters for a price.

Even the AA don't appear to have the new UK signs for sale yet.

Got our new bip and go machine for Spain a couple of weeks ago came supplied with old gb sticker .

Like mikebeaches I too have been looking for a magnetic one for the back of my PVC and had no success. I have however got the small adhesive ones for my number plates

If PC Plod can't be bothered with illegal arrivals, then a sticker is not really worth the paperwork either.
So, to answer your question.. No, I haven't and probably won't.

Does anybody really care though?. I always wondered why you really only see GB/IRL Stickers abroad but not F, DE, NL etc as the number plate identifier is fine for the rest of the world.

Is it a British thing that dates back a long time to need to add another identifier, who will check and what is the penalty for non compliance anyway?

As I’ve said before, and am very likely to say again: haven’t we got more important things to worry about than wether the rear of our vehicles have GB or UK on them? Wouldn’t “Right Hand Drive” in French German & Spanish be more informative to the local looney tailgating you on a foreign road system? You could also have bespoke ones for Greece n Croatia etc. for when you get there.......

I’ve ordered a pair of UK overstickers to go over the GB symbol on the number plates but as others have said I have no intention of actually using it unless challenged. £1.79 a pair on Amazon - I notice they’re still selling loads of GB ones even they are presumably “illegal “ from late September. What a farce!

I have not and do not expect I will because:

1) I've already added a GB sticker with a Union flag to cover the Euro symbol, as I was urged to do, and I'm beyond changing it again

2) most Europeans are familiar with GB plates and know what they mean

3) whilst UK equates to Ukraine, in my world it would anyway.

Just my two cents worth.
