We would like to consider Rallies to France this year not been abroad with van and a little old to start so would like to be around other people thank you .

We havenāt yet had any organised rallies abroad but Funsters do meet up informally. I believe there are a few in Benidorm at present.
The CAMC do do escorted tours, I think.
You might find someone travelling who would be willing for you to tag along for 2 or 3 nights to show you the ropes. Believe me, once done you will be fine to carry on on your own. It depends on your crossing choice and where and when you might like to go.
For instance we are travelling Plymouth Santander late March and travelling wherever the weather dictates in Spain. Not the Costas though.

Fun rallies have taken place abroad. I arranged 2 rallies in the past but for Spain, Bella vista and Benicarlo.. Also Jim did the infamous 2012 Marjal rally.
Many do meet for informal get togethers, especially in Benidorm.
I tried to sort one for France a few years ago but it was like pulling teeth.. So I gave up in the end but there was quiet a bit of interest.
Think there was one once at a lakes location in France but think the site changed hands and no more took place ( cost ? ).

france is much easier than uk i doubt your ever more than 20k to a place to stop

UK is far more difficult to use a Motorhome than France/Germany /Spain etc. If you can use a Motorhome in the UK you will surprised how much easier it is over there.
We hardly use our van in the UK, we find it much too difficult.

In January we were at Areana Blanca Benidorm for a month and must have seen around 30 MHF vans so plenty about, but we have now moved.
It was our first trip to Spain last year and we used the tunnel but this year used the Newhaven-Dieppe crossing cheaper and meant a bit less of France to drive through,

We don't,as a rule do rallies, but if you just need someone to show you the ropes of getting the tunnel and to your first Aires, and general stuff about motorhomes in France, I have said many times we would be quite happy to let anyone tag along with us for a day or two when we go, then leave you to do your own thing, where you live and where and when you are thinking of going would be a big help.
To be honest I don't see a rally in France would be any different than one here , France has so much to offer and you have your own wheels, why stay in the same place for weeks.

One of the travel companies liked to the CAMC do rallies to several countries usually run when you get there by a DC.
We did one to the Vandee 2022 our 1st trip abroad and one last year to Holland.

Don't understand what you mean but I think you will find most busses are free to anyone in France.Cos they won't accept my OAP bus pass!
Mind you, neither will the Welsh, or Scots!

Owned by Rob and Jen. Massive field, new electric 16amp hookups. Bar, restaurant, English Chef Easy big enough for a rally meet. I use as a base to travel onwards.
Wasn't there some to-do about the new owners not wanting rallies ,that is why they didn't do anymore.
But yes agree, nice site and town where incidentally there is a good free aire with service.
