Test drive tomorrow of probable new camper. Sparkly shiny new. We have a lot of stuff from our previous fun mobile but do need a TV....

The last one was a 19" Alba. Cheap and cheerful but dreadful viewing angles.

Any suggestions?

Thinking about a 20" Cello model.
Or a Currys Logik 20"

Any experience with either?

TIA

We’ve got a 22” cello and while the picture quality is good, the programming is a bit cumbersome. Tuning in in different areas seems a tad long winded (‘im indoors’ does it all, so I have no idea what’s going on) and not sure if the Avtex is any easier, but all in all a good telly. :)

We had the 19" Cello (identical tv to the Alba) which we upgraded to a Falcon one when we bought their Sat TV for our motorhome

Despite being 19" no viewing angle problems and has built in Sat TV tuner as well as HD Digital Tv

Only problem is it cost a fair bit

We had a cello but now have the avtex which has a wider viewing angle.

Hi There
I have an Avtex tv the viewing angle is OK but the price they want for these TV’s is over the top. Mine has Freesat and Freeview installed. I would go for a cheaper like some have said cello, although the viewing angle is not as good but watching my friends cello it looked good to me.
A friend of mine said about Reflexion don’t know about them myself, but I would not buy another Avtex, I’m looking for one that is a smart tv as well as having Freeview and Freesat, but can't find one that is 12v.
Best Wishes Tony

Thanks folks
Not bothered about 12VDC - if we're not on EHU we'll find other things to do...

The Cello is top of the list at the mo!

Happy with our Cello Traveller II. Viewing angle fine and is packed full of features. For us a good compromise as we are not big TV watchers when away in the van.

We recently purchased a falcon tv with built in DVD and sat tuner, very impressed. The sound quality is far better than the Avtex which we had in our last van.

24" LOGIK tv...12v/230v, built in DVD, HDMI, USB (photo, music, movie, text) came out of our RV.
Sound could be better but could be because I use hearing aids.
Viewing angle good and clear...photos don't do the picture quality the clarity they deserve

We too have the Falcon TV. We bought it at one of the shows.
It comes with a sound bar too which is handy , although on the larger models there is no Bluetooth so soundbar has to be connected with lead.

Very pleased with it so far.

On the other hand my partner Alan has bought a Finlux twice and both have broken just outside warranty despite hardly being used.

We still have an old avtex as well and while it was expensive their back up service is fabulous.

Happy with my 19"cello built in dvd, free view and freesat.. View great from any angle..

After reading on here how good they were we bought a Cello. Still haven't managed to tune it in.

If your not bothered about it being 12v then visit Curry’s, (others are available).

In our motorhome, we’ve got a wall mounted 49” Panasonic, it’s great.

One of these. Full HD 1080P screen. Bargain. You could afford to fit a inverter and still be in front

Ours is an 18" Samsung TV. I would get a proper branded one they are mass produced and reliable.
I've found in the past cheap electronics don't last.
