If (like me) you have an american rv motorhome that has the original electric hookup connector with the original cable just thought I'd post the wiring information.
Mine is the 50 amp version.
The 50-amp shore-power cord has four 6-gauge wires. The black one is 120 volts 50-amps, the red is 120 volts 50-amps, the white is neutral and the green one is a ground wire.
When looking at the plug, the two outer blades are “hot legs” (black and red), the neutral blade (white) is at the bottom and the round pole is the ground (green).
It may have been rewired for the UK but I thought it might be worth posting 'just in case'
