Yes it is, just spent a week away and used one off 12v in the van (via usb)

Since the radio broke I bought an adaptor off Amazon and use the dot in the van.

I was looking at a 12v supply not long ago but the cost of a voltage stabiliser from 14-12v put me off - good to know that they work fine straight of the vehicles variable 12v-ish supply. A USB to 12v converter didn't seem to have enough power so didn't pursue it very far.

Is there any way the echo show can be on 12v .
