That depends on whether in Devon or Cornwall...Thought it was cream then the jam?
Ahh mr perfecto. Sorry it’s what I had in the fridge. However the scone and the jam were both from Devon Surely I get points for thatIt’s not clotted cream so it’s completely irrelevant.
I’m not saying I wouldn’t enjoy eating them it’s just that the order is irrelevant if the cream’s not clotted! I’m just jealous really. I’m not a Mr so I am a bit pedantic...Ahh mr perfecto. Pedantic? Pardon me, I think you'll find the term is 'a pedant' ....I’m not saying I wouldn’t enjoy eating them it’s just that the order is irrelevant if the cream’s not clotted! I’m just jealous really. I’m not a Mr so I am a bit pedantic...
We are Moving into Cornwall so if I put my Devon jam onto a Cornish scone with clotted cream who wins
We will be Enjoying Dorset but not till JuneTurn around and go back into Dorset....
The cream is much fresher there...
I am a pedantic pedant who does one half cream first and one half jam first, just to show that in Dorset no one cares which way you do it.Pedantic? Pardon me, I think you'll find the term is 'a pedant' ....

Excuse me for being a pedant, but I didn't start it; Carolyn started on about pedantry ...Excuse me Mr Steve...
"Pedantic" is an adjective not a noun.
You can't say "I am a bit of a pedantic"... it must be "I am am a bit of a pedant" as Ms carolyn correctly posted.
Hope this helps...
(You started it!)
JJ
PS. Folk who put the jam on before the clotted cream are just wrong.
