It’s not clotted cream so it’s completely irrelevant.
Ahh mr perfecto. Sorry it’s what I had in the fridge. However the scone and the jam were both from Devon Surely I get points for that 🤪

I’m not saying I wouldn’t enjoy eating them it’s just that the order is irrelevant if the cream’s not clotted! I’m just jealous really. I’m not a Mr so I am a bit pedantic...

We are Moving into Cornwall so if I put my Devon jam onto a Cornish scone with clotted cream who wins 🤔

Turn around and go back into Dorset....

The cream is much fresher there... (y)

Pedantic? Pardon me, I think you'll find the term is 'a pedant' .... 😂 😂 😂

Steve

Excuse me Mr Steve...

"Pedantic" is an adjective not a noun.

You can't say "I am a bit of a pedantic"... it must be "I am am a bit of a pedant" as Ms carolyn correctly posted. :whistle2:

Hope this helps...

(You started it!)

JJ

PS. Folk who put the jam on before the clotted cream are just wrong.

Excuse me for being a pedant, but I didn't start it; Carolyn started on about pedantry ... 😂 😂 😂

Thank you sounds proper

I’ve always put the jam on first as I cannot fathom out how to spread jam onto cream . It all just moves about and makes a mess. If any of the cream first gang can tell me how to spread jam on top of cream I’ll give it a go.
