Hi 👋 newbie to the mh ,what's the best air suspension or levelling system on a tag axle mh?

Depends what you want, for levelling on sight I would think Levelling system but that wouldn’t effect ride quality and air suspension would be expensive on a tag axle van

I had both fitted to our tag in May by SAP in Doncaster after 11 months of experimenting without. Ride is fair superior, less rocking and rolling in high winds or passing lorries, levelling system is fantastic, no more faffing around with levelling ramps etc, when you get to site.

As Manic says, cost on a tag is expensive and from memory it was a shade over £14,000, as we did have a tow bar added too.

Hope this helps

We have Goldschmitt full air, great improvement in ride comfort, fantastic stability in crosswinds you can overtake an artic at 70 take your hands of the wheel & the van keeps a straight line.

95% of the time we can get the van dead level with the air suspension as it has about 4" of travel on the rear & 5" on the front. We do carry a pair of small ramps used them once in 2 years. Still rocks in the wind, we like it we sleep better.

I would go for the air first then add the Jack's if you need them.

Blimey,,only paid that for my van four years and 30000 miles ago.BUSBY😁😁

Check out Timbren Aeon rubber springs assist , they just fit in place of the bump stops. All info on the internet.
Very simple tech, and huge ones are used on train carriages. If good enough and safe enough for a train carriage, and no complicated expensive air system to fit and maintain, that can fail.
Cost about £100.
I've had them on a number of vans, my current Hymer really used to wallow around before these were fitted.

I don't think you can compare that to full air system. Having fitted to my van I would never have another van without full air.
