To be fair it will look a lot better when it all mucks up to the same colour as the rest of the roof, I would still put some flash band stuff over the joint for when it goes again.

Can't agree with the first bit, I think it looks very unprofessional but agree with the second bit as that will be belt and braces with the added bonus of it hides the bad workmanship

Piss poor finish. Agree with sticking a wide strip of flashband across the whole length of the joint whilst the area is clean, to hide that rubbish finish.

By the look of the finish, can you actually be sure they removed the old mastic first and haven't just piled the new stuff on top ?
