Add blue is there to lower harmful emissions.....nox.Not having/had a vehicle that had to use Adblue can a vehicle that is set up for Adblue run without it? And if so what if any damage to the engine
Float in the reservoir, and it goes to limp mode when the level gets there, mine gives several warnings on the speedo screen pad as the level gets down.Add blue is there to lower harmful emissions.....nox.
If you don't use it it won't harm your engine.......but......modern engines could go into limp mode if it detects raised emissions.

!0 litres for 4000 miles of average running on an ML I. Automatic. plenty left in there at 5400 miles before think about filling again. Needs a check at Mercs, under warranty I hope so get advice from the local van dealership.I'm unsure whether one uses more add blue if driving hard (more emissions, but hotter cat) or gentle.
i.e. would the average motorhome use more or less add blue than the average sprinter delivery van?
I seem to be using 10l every 1200 miles or so, and I drive usually gentle motorway miles at 100kph.
