Morning,
Heading to Portugal within the next couple of weeks and wondered if it is worth getting the ACSI books.

We haven’t bothered for a couple of years as we normally use Aires through Search for sites or Campercontact.

If you're staying in one place try the Orbitur campsites. Couple of years ago they offered to match the ACSI rates for a longer stay.

Because I thought the membership card was in my name but it's not so no problem. Have used ACSI for years now as the savings are significant - usually a third or nore. Let me know if you want the books. I shall need your name & address to post them! There are 2 books plus a card to indicate membership.

In Portugal it may also be worth getting the Guia Roteiro campsite guide - assuming you can find one this late in the year. Some campsites sell copies. Text in Portuguese, but symbols are explained in a range of languages.
Only about €8 to buy, claims to list all campsites and gets discount (generally 10% or more) on about a third of sites. A fair few sites in Portugal, especially in North & Centre, are below minimum ACSI price. (Or were a couple of years ago.)

There’s usually a discount for longer stays of up to 50%, beats ASCI totally 👍
