Recommend it Robby, good food, beer, beer garden (weather permitting), dog friendly and pleasant walk around the Canal Locks just at the rear of the pub.

Only 15 mins for us. We went to Southport to begin with but couldn’t park on the prom car park which was full, so rather than go home, went to the ship.

It refers to the village of Apperley where it all began in the car park of the Farmers Arms. The event had to find a new home when the people at the back were standing in the road.
