I always try and take the photo from inside but have made an exception today because the windscreen is dirty and the view is fantastic.

Are you down there looking for a property, or just going to Studland for some nude sunbathing?
....buying a property down at Sandbanks.....oh I wish. No I went for a day trip out on the coast for the peace and a lovely seaview (that it was).....at one point I was parked on Western Avenue in Poole in awe of the mansion properties I could just about see over the tops of security gates and hedges....apparently many are owed by current and former footballers.

Was in Windsor Safari Park building the roads for the new Lego Land and use to look forward to Concorde flying over in the morning, if I remember I think it was about 11-00am ?
Quite correct. We use to have morning meetings in Reading and always arrange for coffee at 11.00 as you couldn't hear a thing as Concord set off for America.

I'd stay there if I were you in glorious isolation.
Unfortunatly the schools just like the stadium are shut. The little ones'parents asked me to look after the eldest children too. So I will have more work till..... ???? who knows! In order to keep me in good form, the eldest will be shared with grand parents, and parents. Monday should be a normal day, then tuesday starts with some more work. Be it me, I would stay here and chill out!

Well I did not expect to be here this trip away. Planned to be in Portugal and northern Spain from 8th January to 28th April. Brought forward the ferry home from Bilbao to 25 March and then changed again to ferry from St Malo to Portsmouth on 17th March. Left Burgos today and crossed the border at about 1:00 pm, no problems and no sign of border being closed. Made it to tonight’s stop St Dizant-du-Gua one of out favourite airs from our visit to France last Spring/early Summer.

You should be glad that we no longer have Concorde, when that used to fly over you could feel the ground vibrating :giggle:

Talking of Concorde....hop on the train from Chertsey to Weybridge and visit the Brooklands Museum to see Concorde ‘Delta Golf’. Impressive museum.

Most of the pilot training for Concorde took place at Prestwick in late august early September, so we had the pleasure of watching 30 to 40 take off's per day.
One of the flight paths chosen saw Concorde flying straight along the road where I lived, a beautiful stirring sight.
