Was the low point on my last trip. Sick as a dog from Picton all the way to Wellington.

Oh dear! The Cook Strait crossing can get very rough. I sympathise. One man’s cruise is another man’s sick bag!

Yes on a rough trip many people are sick. John isn't good on the Ferrys, I'm fine but he didn't appreciate me offering toffee to him, actually he spent the rest of trip in the bathroom. He didn't have a problem when we lived on our fantastic narrowboat.

Never been very good at close up shots, so thought I would try taking a shot of the amaryllis with my iPad. It was very sunny in the dining-room so I pulled the curtains a bit and stood with my back to the sun which was shining right on the flower. For some reason the background has come out black, don’t know why but quite like the effect.

Time for late picnic lunch. Unfortunately not accessible to the MH, very narrow road and nowhere to turn round..
