Castle Stalker 01/01/22. Fourth visit to the Bioran Dubh CL. Or is it a CS? Either way it’s become blooming expensive. Now £25 a night.
Four caravans and one Moho (us) so others are daft enough to pay for a view with wifi :)

Loved the Charlestown pics from Cliffdale. For those of you who don't know, many films and TV shows have been made here, including all the harbour scenes from Poldark. It also featured in the film "The Eagle has Landed" about the attempted kidnapping of Churchill during the War, which, by coincidence, is on this afternoon (3.50pm BBC2).

Charlestown doubles as a port in the Channel Islands. In Cliffdale's first photo, the Pier House is the local pub and Donald Sutherland's character is thrown through the window on the right of pic. The small white building with conical roof is disguised as a German pillbox and that gets blown up, I seem to remember....

Anyway, Happy New Year to you all

We live nearby and often watch the film making. Best was Johnny Depp filming Scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean! The row of terraced cottages were completely covered with green camouflaged netting so they were blotted out from the film.
Below is a little bit of Fowey
