We have booked the tunnel for 08:30 on the 6th March, leaving work in the van straight into the road ( fingers crossed )
Pont-d ouilly will be our first stop for a week just to relax before who knows what

we have the tunnel booked back start of June and a ferry from Fishguard to rosslare a week after, I have some salmon fishing booked with a friend.

16th July ferry booked Belfast to Stranraer for swmbo’s mothers 70th Birthday party in Helensburgh.

then the plan is to go up to slettness lighthouse via Sweden and back through Norway.

it’s a loose plan with a few bits we have to attend but that’s how we like it.

Plan by all means but leave room for serendipity. A library of Michelin green guides will ensure you don't miss a must see by a few miles. You can get old ones for peanuts on ebay. Example below.

Exiting times , stay in each area a while and explore . Its very easy to rush from place to place because you can. Once the novelty-holiday , as in must see and do as much as we can goes , you will start to appreciate the lifestyle . Best of luck and enjoy

We too have storage sorted out, and we are taking a few bits every now and then to it, so we don't have one mammoth move at the end. Slight hold up in the chain was the news today...could have done without that. ?

What’s the going rate for storage, we’re 5 weeks away from completing and the nearest storage is asking £30 for a 10ft x 12 ft which won’t get a lot into.

We went to storage base in Banbury and have a 15sqft locker with £5000 insurance for 12 months at £285, we did put a deposit down in August and glad we did as they wanted £400 + insurance yesterday for the same thing.

10 days to go and the house is empty just need to clean it and hand it back.
So excited now.
