I havn't been to France in my mh but I was in the Wirral and saw a young girl walking her duck along the promenade. When she got to her car, the girl opened the door and the duck jumped in. :)

Sorry to diverse.

We have a man in Tewkesbury who takes his tortoise for a walk regularly down the busy high street where people give him/her water and treats. And yes, he carrys a poop bag!
Hi saw him walking it down the high street last August when stayed at the C&MC site in Tewksbury for few days before heading to the sunshine festival. The tortoise is huge everybody stops to have a look at it.🐢

How do you know it's a stoat? Could it be a weasel?
Love that Stoat, great picture to get !!! Never been quick enough.

Nice topic(y)

How do you tell the difference between a stoat and a weasel?

The easiest and most reliable way to tell a stoat from a weasel is the tail. A stoat's tail is around half the length of its body and ends in a bushy black tip.

Bloody ugly passengers, I hate to see what they do at passport control and self isolation!

We've been at Cap Ferret for 10 weeks and only the other day did the penny drop when we saw a ... Ferret - duh.
Also seen black squirrels and loads of Harry's. Had a really interesting conversation with a lady from the local environment department, she was counting the endangered lizard ocean - very shy lizards but very big and love to live the ex Nazi bunkers on the beaches

Kangaroo !!!

no photos, but a verified story. At the campsite we use on the Vendee, a friend of ours was cutting his grass when a kangaroo jumped over the hedge from the farm next door, and just kept going. There were about 6 people on the site who also saw it including the site owner !

It was on the local news and unfortunately was reported as being killed by hunters a couple of weeks later. no one ever admitted where it came from as it did cause some damage
