Swift Autocruise forte ,40 amp fuse next to leisure batteries keeps blowing, pulled all fuses from Sargent control box.solar panel connected to batteries. No 12volt 240 volt ok Earth fault ??

Just so I/we understand, is the 40amp fuse connected to the solar input to the battery or is this a separate fuse for the output of the battery to the rest of the motorhome?

With the fuses all out do a continuity test between the battery fuse to Sargent unit cable and the negative battery terminal. Sounds like the wiring may be shorted to earth.

Identify the supply wire at the control unit and remove.
Replace blown fuse.
If it blows there a short to earth in the supply wire..
If it doesn't blow there's a possible fault on the control panel.

The fuse is from the batteries to the Sargent , all been fine for years the only thing different is I turned the 3way fridge to gas it seemed ok until fuse went Hadn’t used the gas for a while but was ok on12v from engine and 240 from hook up.
must say thank you for all the help on here.

Henry Walton The link from your leisure battery to your fridge is for its control panel and gas control valve operation, Have you tried turning the fridge off and replacing the battery fuse to eliminate the fridge as being the problem.(although I would expect the fridge fuse to blow if it was the problem)
Also have you been able to disconnect the leisure battery supply from the PSU and try inserting a fuse ,as suggested ,to check if the problem is with the supply cable between the battery and PSU or is within or after the PSU.
If the problem is with the battery to PSU supply cable I think that there is a joint in this cable that would need to be checked for damage etc.
