Some of us who like to dress up in the era of 1940's, will be doing so, Sheila & Mick did war time food last time they arranged this meet, Sure Sheila will be along soon to let us know what is happening over the weekend.
We had use of one of the war time shed's for get together's in the evening with a bit of
40's music and partying

Hi Knockinonabit

As you say the main theme is the military side i.e. if you want to come dressed up that is up to you. Hopefully we will endeavour to try to give a taste of what life was like during this period of time. The sort of food that was available and the great rallying songs of that time which united our country.

We will have the use of a Nissen hut on Friday/Saturday evening so bring your own lemonade, orange squash etc . On the Saturday evening/night we hope to serve the typical food of that era, if I can find my receipes and come in our appropriate costumes if you so desire.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated
