Hello All

I'm new to the forum , so hello to everybody!

Sorry to be demanding on my first post. I have had a motor home for 20 years, currently have a Knaus 650DKG and want to move to to a larger A class.

Having looked around I got to a short list of 2013 Hymer Starline 680 S or 2014 Carthago S plus. For various reasons I am bending towards the Hymer and wanted to know if there are any 680 / 690 owners out there who can share any wisdom.

I am looking for the "dont buy" advice as I am already keen to buy it , subject to not getting any advice that states otherwise.

Thank you in advance.

No-one ever got fired for buying a Hymer.

Go for it. Don't miss it, they sell like hot cakes on discount.

Not long enough!
If it's the one advertised, no mention of
Solar, regulator, batteries, inverter, refillable gas bottles or any other additions.
Would have been nice for more photos :)

Hello and welcome
Make a list of pros and Cons and see which comes top. Always compromises but worth it in the end. Good luck.

There seem to be a lot of fairly new Hymer 680's and 690's for sale, and it has made me wonder why? If you are buying the top model in the Hymer range on a Merc chassis, why would you sell after 12/24 months?
