2.8 fiat ducato diesel broken down. Help

Was missing. On investigation found me engine oil. Has gone into fuel tank.
 
I’m afraid this doesn’t make any sense...
 
Do you mean that the oil in the sump is mostly diesel?
If so, get the vehicle serviced ASAP before it starts doing a runaway, which means the diesel that has got past the piston rings & diluted your oil.
The engine might start running on the oil in its own sump & when that happens turning off the ignition doesn't stop the engine revving its bollocks off til it goes bang.

That is just not possible.
The diesel pump and injection system is completely separate to the lubrication system.
There is no physical way for one to mix with the other.

May be he has been running it on waste oil diluted with diesel. Haha
