12v Electric waste dump.

Anyone ever fitted one? Our grey water tank is right in the centre of the bus and the dumphole is right in the centre of the tank. The pull rod isn't long enough, so we looked at getting a longer pullrod, but two fitters looked and said that it would require whole new valve fitting, I thought, sod it, get an electric one, with a button on the dash. Probably a tiny camera as well. The older I get, the less easy it is to scrabble around underneath.

I'm looking at fitting a knife slide type rather than ball valve. Anyone ever done this?

Don't understand why it would need a new valve assembly.
Surely all it needs is the existing rod extending .....a minor weld job or even a couple of small U clamps. The type used for joining steel wire.
