I'm a newbie
I bought a cheap model (false economy) which at first did the job but now fails to reach anywhere near the 80psi required. Can anyone recommend a reliable unit, appreciate your help thank you.

This is the one you need:

Ring RAC900

As you’ve discovered, buy cheap, buy twice (other multiples are available 😉).

I bought one from Tesco a while back seems to do a good job, manages 68 psi at least and switches off when at the right pressure

this is the dogs bits...

Hi folks.

It ain't cheap, and being a Yorkshireman I really had to reflect and decided if it wasn't any good there would be "hell to pay Phill D.

It's a reet bobby dazzler, went up to 4.5 bar and never missed a beat, the wire was a bit warm what a grand piece of kit.

Takin the money out of 'er indoors knicker allowance so not all is lost eh ?

phil (and an upset 'er indoors)

Another vote for Ring RAC 900. Excellent piece of kit.

skipper64 nice piece of kit, only down side for me, and the reason I went T-MAX is it is 240v and the T-MAX is 12V (certainly not ciggy lighter) comes with battery clamps and therefore gives me mobile benefits
