Well another weekend has come to an end ,this is the first time in a couple of years that we have attended a show ,we have done many over the years but we felt they were getting very samey, but we have enjoyed Lincoln its nice to be parked up with lots of other likeminded people. We dont do the marquee or the entertainment but enjoy wandering around and having a natter with people as we go.
Just enjoying our own company in the main ,so maybe we will attend a couple of others next year.our thanks go out to Jim & Sian and their helpers and a big thank you to the marshalls.till next time .

Weather was grim but Tom Jones was just amazing. Probably the best Warners have ever given us.

Joe Pasquale - maniac ! He started as Tommy Cooper and ended as Rolf Harris and in between every ward in the lunatic asylum. Quite a night.

Apart from that, as @Brian and Jo said, just about identical to first one we ever attended. Once you become old hands the novelty wear off, I must say, I'd rather have been on the Moselle. We probably will be next year.

We’re back at home and all unloaded after a fantastic week end with friends old and new.
It was a cracking night last night with the funster band and Jim serenading Sian.
Thanks to everyone and especially the marshals on Thursday and Friday with the bitter cold rain we had, I don’t know how they do it, so once again thanks to everyone involved.

John, Pat and Roxy.

We just got home too. Lovely weekend and great fun. Thanks to all the Funsters who came and chatted to us and brought us hot and cold drinks whilst we were helping you park, and to all those that chatted to us around the site and in the marquee. It was great to meet up with old friends and make new ones. BTW there is still a pink flag with a white horse somewhere in the marquee that was blowing around the field. Must belong to someone!

Thank you to Jim Sian and the lovely, great, fantastic marshals for a loevely, great, fantastic meet.

We left early, missing the bacon butties to indulge in our latest hobby - looking at motorhomes - as if we hadn't done enough of that at the show.

I cannot remember the ladies name, but she was genuinely thrilled. I had everything crossed because by then we knew about the potential new van, but no, some other lucky so and so won it.

Got home around 11:30 after a short run home. Many thanks to all the marshals for their tireless efforts in not the best of weathers. Thanks also to Jim & Siân and the bacon butty crew for doing disco grub on Sunday morning.

Dont think Lincoln Show was as good this year as we've seen it in previous years. The free entertainment last night was excellent with brilliant Moondogs supported by a Dusty Springfield tribute. What a great sound the 3 Moondogs achieved.

Finally, thanks to @SUGGY (Fri) and also the Funster band (Sat).

Good luck Dave @toledo with your forthcoming visit to hospital. We wish you all the best.

Hi
We set off from Lincoln at 9.10 and should have been home by 11.30 and we were making good time except we got on the M69 and the engine died on us and we had to call the AA aat least it didn't cost anything in petrol but its now in the garage waiting for the news and how much it will cost

Gosh Dave after our chat this morning it just highlights the fact that you never know what is around the corner, hope that it is something simple and an easy fix. Good luck with the Op and we wish you a speedy recovery.
