Hi Bryan,Soul buddies is spot on,The seller is also asking for the buyer to contact through a Gmail account (also against ebay policey) read belowWould you be so kind as to tell me how you know this is a scam?
It would do no good, they simply send another email asking you to pay them through a spoof ebay acredited account saying you pay ebay who holds money until they delivery van you then let ebay releasr the money-because the acc,is spoof they already have money -search te last few days on scams to get a fuller picWhy can`t the police see this ,pretend to be a buyer , turn up and nick him .

its about time EBay started blocking accounts being created from the same IP address. or at least put a level of security into signing up that possibly included a credit card payment that gets refunded after 30 days. that way you can prove its a REAL application, not just another scammer.
it appears that the Nigerian scammers based in Holland have moved their target group of mugs to catch out motorhomers who have an image of being predominantly retired and have cash to spare.
the honest answer though is that they still play on people being inherently greedy or dishonest, wanting to get something for a fraction of its true value. thats one reason why they are normally easy to spot as being fake
