What do I need from ikea….

I like the plastic rest I bought for my tablet it has two different angles and cost me £2 years ago.

Boot tray:

Fits nicely just inside the mo-ho door, we have another 2 in the outside lockers and 2 at home

Tempered glass plates and bowls, it’s like corelle.

Oh so many things. We like the steel racks for resting serving dishes on . Great on the dining table as well.
We have those plates in the motorhome, they are a good size too as not too big. They have pasta bowls to match that we use more than the plates as they are small unlike the huge ones from other stores. We went last week to buy some more. The plates and bowls are not all together in the store, I would have expected they would put all of the same range together but apparently not. The staff member said they like to put them out randomly.
Oh and they are only 75p each, they used to be 50p  bargain.
Also the cork mats for standing hot pans on, very useful for the small slowcooker too.

That's a good idea, I'll measure up for those. I've not been impressed with the carpet ones I bought for the doors.

I'm told their meatballs are very good. I've vowed never to return after being lost in the one way maze last time ...
It's only one way if you allow yourself to be manipulated by their control tactics. I like to live dangerously and, like a salmon, go against the flow.😉

On my way home tomorrow I’m popping into ikea what essentials do I need to buy for the van or home….☺️
Probably loads of stuff you've never thought of and loads of other bits you really don't need but can't resist!

It’s like a cheap Lakeland catalogue.

Don’t buy their quilt covers though unless you have their quilts as they’ll be a bit big. It doesn’t bother me but I know it bothers people who are more tidy minded! The other way round is very irritating of course.

So do I 😊

I’m going to be ushered where they want me to go 😉😂

hot dogs ...... you can usually just visit IKEA food hall without going through the store !!!!

They do small cheap bath mats & small material containers that hang on hooks ideal for bits & bobs, charging cables etc. we also like their towels - the bath towel is generously sized and come with loops so you can hang them up on a hook

You’ve just missed the special bank holiday offer on meatballs. 8 meatballs, chips or mash, peas and jam, not forgetting that gorgeous gravy that is impossible to replicate (even buying the packet mix from IKEA) all for 1 GBP.

OFTAST is the tempered glass range of plates, bowls etc. We've had a set for nearly 8 years now since it was introduced.

KAFFEREP Pastry with almond paste, Rainforest Alliance Certified

HÅLLBAR Bin with lid, light grey, 10 l £5

There is nothing in IKEA that you can't life without
