Hiya everyone, just tried to fill up with LPG at a BP garage in Scarborough,and the nozzle got jammed in my tank!! Eventually I got it free but paid £6-22 for gas and it didn't fill.it was reading half full when l started and as till showing same after turning off.obviously,l was more concerned with getting free from the pump,but looking for an alternative garage or source around Bridlington/ Scarborough area and there don't seem to be any.any ideas please?

Could you determine why the pump got stuck ? Was there any damage to the pump or nozzle ?

Sounds like the nozzle didn't lock in properly, did you notice a strong smell of gas while filling? Maybe try it again.
Autogas app shows 2 locations near York and one at Norton on Derwent, which was out of gas last September, but might have restocked

My local Flogas depot loans a UK bayonet when weather gets properly hot (rare I know) as for some reason nobody's UK ones will lock properly?
My own UK adapter is fine the rest of the year!

We live in Scarborough and fill up at Kirkburn Filling Station nr Driffield. Never had a problem and good access.

Probably too late now but primrose valley on the Bridlington road.
Follow the A165 until you cross a level crossing just south of the second Filey junction.
After the crossing take the second right.
You'll see a fuel price board at the road end.
Can't miss the garage on your left about 100 MTRS.
Easy access to pump

Yes exactly! We've found 1 at seamer rd , mentioned,and 1 at driffield,but the lovely lady at driffield suggested the new owner probably will not renew the licence for LPG,as it's more trouble than it's worth
