Today is the darkest day of the year.
Christmas for some is cancelled, and disrupted for many.
Millions in the UK, Germany, Eire and other countries within Europe are now locked down for the foreseeable future.
Hundreds of thousands will, or already have, lost their livelihoods.
Tens of thousands of lorry drivers may well spend Christmas in their cabs.
Those working in the hospitals are now entering probably the hardest shifts of their lives.

However the end is in sight,
Tomorrow the sun will be in the sky just a little longer.
Like the seasons, there is no "On/Off" switch, just little by little, each day will now be sunnier than the last.
By the Spring the NHS will be inoculating hundreds of thousands of people every week.
At some point, companies will start to re-hire people.
And we can all meet friends and family again.

Hopefully, when this is all over you helped in some small way to make the situation better for others,
As one day, you will be asked, "What did you do during the Pandemic ?"

Just a tad..
I’ve been actively recruiting so doing my bit to create new jobs and I respect your sunny outlook, but there is a cold reality that as a nation, we are ‘waggon and trucked’ at present.

AIDS is less deadly than Covid-19. No one does from AIDS in the west..

quite a few years now, and loving every minute..

and it's because of those brave, brave boys that we are sitting in our homes today, okay, we might not be getting the christmas we anticipated this year with our families surrounding us, but goodness me, we have a lot to be thankful for and we can look forward to next years celebrations, the gods willing..

Exactly that: - how many of 'our' glorious government members of their family / mates have gotten a lot richer off the backs of this pandemic, a few mil here, a few mil there whilst homeless or desperate families struggle - take that bast*rd Rees Mogg looking down his nose at UNISEF giving aid to UK poor, - I think it's time to dispatch a few of them the same way as Benito Mussolini. My blood boils at the injustice these upper class ****** have led this country down the drain since the witch Thatcher
Is that the naughty step I hear coming?:wondering:
