Disclok

Not sure what size mine is but if you in AA you get 10% in Halfords

It might be worth your while fitting one of these to lock the driver’s seat in the swivelled-round position, as per the thread below. Very easily done, but you need a big washer to go under the bottom fixing to prevent access from a grinder.
Liked the idea of the Oxford Patriot motorbike disc lock from earlier on in this thread, so bought and fitted one.
It's great, a doddle to fit, use and store, plus it looks to be pretty well cordless grinder and hammer proof with no access to the 14mm hardened steel pin. (y)

Which size disc lock for a 2012 ducato and are there any discounts available.
All this theft has me worried
Simon my Disklock is medium 39 cms to 41 cms - I have been using this on Ducato's from 2008 to 2019 models - once lokced there is a slight slip so the disk cannot turn the steering wheel .

Medium small is very tight and will scuff the steering wheel, also recommend purchasing the elasticated steering wheel protector to save scuffs and scratches especially if wheel is leather covered.

Small on my Ducato fits fine.

Man the van do you just need to drill a hole through the base . And does it protrude through the base far as my jack box is stored under the drivers seat.

Do an internet search or find a price comparison site. I found one that was about 15% cheaper than everywhere else and free postage.
Just checked and they are now charging about the same as everyone else so special one off offer. Maybe others are out there.

Simon is your Jack in a massive case ...take out all the contents, discard the case, and wrap the jack and tools in a cloth etc .. this will be a third of the size . Creates more storage space.

Purchased mine from Festive Lights which at the time were the cheapest I could find, superb service and delivery, don’t know how their prices compare now. If you sign up to their newsletter there’s a 10% discount for new customers.

Even with manufacturers website offers or discount offers, as mentioned above, it's always worth shopping around online - Amazon & eBay listings don't always come up on Google Shopping or other search engines so separate searches best on those. One example is Colapz water cans https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/colapz-food-grade-space-saving-watering-can-from-£12-35-delivered.169730/ - when contacted even the manufacturer couldn't get down to even double the clearance price of £12.35 - we bought two from the stockist clearing them!
Clutch Claw is another security device worth considering https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/clutch-claw-with-10-motorhome-fun-discount-code.218289/ - some use this as well as Disklok.

Yes, a 14mm hole. You then put a spacer washer onto the disc lock under the seat so there’s no room to get a grinder in. It hardly protrudes at all...maybe 5mm?

There’s a thread on here somewhere that shows multiple photos and gives links to the SS spacer washer, if that’s any use.

Simon Meadwell think this is the thread https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/swivel-seat-security.209917/page-2 mentioned above - post #31 from Two on Tour has the washer link (y)

I got a 6mm washer off ebay. Not glued it though as I figure a spinning washer is even harder to cut through.
