I feel I am amongst experienced ralliers.....are there other events I should be watching out for? Being on this waiting list was nerve wracking.....I'd like to apply fast for any other hot tips you have !

Just keep looking at the Scheduled Rallies section in the main forum. It depends on your location and interests, but there must be 30 or more rallies a year. This year we've been to the motorhome shows at Peterborough, Newbury, Stoneleigh, Norfolk and Lincoln, plus The Thetford Bash and Cider and Skittles as well as other trips. The shows usually have no limit on numbers, but the smaller rallies tend to be a bit friendlier. Many rallies already have lists for next year.

You may never want to attend another meet after being with this mad lot for a few days.

Yes it's up-to-date. One person offered as shown, but there is a rumour that they may be hospitalised so unable to reply.

So at the moment you are 3rd or 2nd on the list.

Just keep trying.
I’ve had to call several times to get a pick up before.

Yes it's a very small team there in the off season. Jan runs the admin alongside many other tasks on a large site. She gets in the office about 10 but asked if people could ring after 10:30 and before 3:30 as she's most likely to be in the office then.
