As per the title, Can anyone suggest a reliable aerial alignment iPhone app for France?I have 'antenna Aligner' for the UK but I seem to be struggling to find one that covers France...

You won't get UK terrestrial channels either.

If you want to watch UK channels you'll need a satellite dish.

Presumably you are looking for an app for TV terrestrial transmitters.. not satellites.. You could just check where others are pointing.

Can your TV tune into French stations, you realise won't find any English speaking channels on French TV

some info on French Freeview https://www.frenchentree.com/living-in-france/technology/french-television-channel-guide/
yes, i'm looking for french terrestrial TV, primarily for meteo and TdF when i'm in the Alps over the summer.
I speak french ;)

11yrs, but many years a tugger.
Why bother with an App ? Stick one of these in the wire and rotate antenna until you get the max number of led’s alight.

i have one, but i have not found it great tbh.

i don't know if it is because Avtex aerial is powered to boost signal and as the gets its 5v power from the cello traveller tv, adding the signal finder into the system means the Avtex aerial is no longer powered.

what ever the reason, i have found the UK app excellent in providing information on transmitter direction and establishing whether the orientation is vertical or horizontal even when the signal finder has not given much indication of a signal.
