We found THIS SITE to be a useful guide to alignment. I think you need the postcode or address of your location. I assume you know that all French TV is now HD so you will need suitable TV or box with DVBT2 tuning

You won't get UK terrestrial channels either.

If you want to watch UK channels you'll need a satellite dish.

i have one, but i have not found it great tbh.

i don't know if it is because Avtex aerial is powered to boost signal and as the gets its 5v power from the cello traveller tv, adding the signal finder into the system means the Avtex aerial is no longer powered.

what ever the reason, i have found the UK app excellent in providing information on transmitter direction and establishing whether the orientation is vertical or horizontal even when the signal finder has not given much indication of a signal.

I have not found the signal finders to be very accurate either. The French site I posted gives you the information you need.

I would ask Cello if your particular TV is suitable......................does it pick up HD TV channels in the UK.
Otherwise THIS BOX will let you pick up HD and enable playing and recordings with a USB stick.
