Well we went,, Landed at Le-Harve at 8am Sunday morning and drove through attrocious conditions to Tours (Storm force winds torrntial rain) fighting the steering all the way to Tours,, Stayed at what used to be one of our favorite sites en-route south "Le-Acacia" wont stop there again,, hiked prices and site getting quite tatty..
Reasonable run down to "Parc-Verger" today few showers and a bit of sun. Arrived on site and within a few minutes Di had a cup of tea for us,, superb service..
Bob & Di have done quite a few changes to their already superb site,, a few more hard standings with EHU, we noticed quite a change from our last visit.. any newbies travelling down South France or onwards to Spain should put this site on their must do list.. We have come back to see a bit of the scenary that we did not see on our first visit..
Not long after we arrived it started to rain and has not stopped yet,, but it is a nicer type of rain in France,, "innit"
Thanks for all the words of encouragement in another thread special thanks to the two "Jims" Jim the boss and Scotjimland.. and others, we are going to try and enjoy ourselves..
Here for a few days then off down to see "Frankie" then "Salou" and then on down to meet "Jackomet" and see if we can catch the scum that robbed them,, if not praps we can drown our sorrows with "Didgey Dave" and a few other Funsters..
Try and update on progress in a few days,,
ps. Kept an eye out for Maria when we went by "Horn- summat or other" but did not see her..
