Soon be fetching the new van from Campirama. I've heard that some have been able to insure off the vin number to drive home but so far have not been able to find an insurer. Has anybody done it recently?

Yes we risked it ,the 04 on the plates indicates that the insurance is only for April ,we had to provide passport and driver's licence ,it took 24 hours for the plates to arrive ,I drove very carefullyDidn't know you could get Belgium export plates, Campirama have never offered them.
Did you risk it on 3rd party insurance?
