Certainly looks good. How do you release it?It might get filthy behind the axle but certainly not in front.
Fitted nearly 3 yrs ago and still looks like this

I carry a spare tyre and wheel, combined weight is 25 kgs, just trying to decide if I should leave the jack at home as I wouldn't want to lift the van with it I pay for breakdown cover so they can fit it

Openo do good deals on wheels with tyres.where would be the best place to get a spare from
The shoulder angle is different, you must not use bolts for steel wheels on alloys but you can get away with bolts for alloy wheels on steel wheels certainly OK to get you home.I believe different nuts are required, but I don't have any.

I have looked at Fiat fitted alloys and the bolts are the sameThe shoulder angle is different, you must not use bolts for steel wheels on alloys but you can get away with bolts for alloy wheels on steel wheels certainly OK to get you home.
What a brilliant reply, We bought our van last september and i have located the spare and checked the pressure, loads of room to get underneath to change! The wife would call the r a c but i will sort it out myself if i need to, its a bloke thing. It's just a matter of taking spacial care that the foot of the jack is directly below the jacking point and not on a skew and that the van cannot move. If it's to change a wheel I put the flat under the chassis rail while I put the spare on just to be sure it cannot hit the ground if there is a failure.
I also have no problem cracking the wheel nuts with the supplied kit
On my last van as it was a special edition Hymer (X250) wouldn't factory fit Alloys so dealer had to do it, dealer used bolts for steel wheels, I had to go back to get correct bolts fitted. You may be right about the taper I do remember the bolts for alloys were longer probably because alloy wheels are thicker and not safe to use the shorter bolts.I have looked at Fiat fitted alloys and the bolts are the same
