From your Motorhone travels, if you could pick a favourite Country/place or a favourite stopover, where would it be ?

For me it's the little winery we stayed at, overlooking San Gimgnano, Tuscany, Italy

The lookout top of Mount Victoria Wellington NZ On a clear day not only is Wellington Harbour laid out in front of you if you turn around you can see across the Cook Strait and the Southern Alps as far as Mount Cook

Or

The Lizard, on a really rough day, gale force sou wester Bloody Brilliant!

With the motorhome it has to be the C&CC site on Skye...... without the motorhome Eirik's Fjord, Greenland :)

We like to go to new places, so in planning a trip it starts with the question: "Where haven't we been before?" Having said that we do return to Spain and have been several times to Portscatho in Cornwall. :)

Great question!
I look forward to reading these replies with pencil and paper to hand.
For us, probably Sanlucar de Barrameda. Near Cadiz.
Great free aire on the beach front, in a traditional spanish town, with lots to do.
Spectacular bullfights and about a dozen sherry bodegas.
Good promenade and local cycle paths.

I really should stop telling people about this.

Sanibel Island in Florida without a shadow of a doubt.

In our mohome Seville was up there as a beautiful city.

Our RV trips in the US and Canada for us cannot be beaten, Grand Canyon, Niagara , Monument Valley etc., awesome .

Most of my traveller favourites have been from a sailing yacht, my own or more often a charter vessel. I would rank Foxy's bar on Little Jost Van Dyke in the B.V.I's. (He has a Live Cam if you look it up)

I would also include Parga on mainland Greece (Ionian) for the magnificent views and the reastaurant choice.
Pictured here with my eldest son almost 10 years ago.

I'd like to see Italy again and or go down to Greece. A great question Robert, I think if we sat with a glass in our hands you could sell me many destinations from your list of haunts.

If I had to relocate in the UK I'd got to somewhere near Porthmadog so I had easy access to all the places I've loved visiting over the years.

If I could choose to live permanently abroad it would be in Charente-Maritime in France.

However, as I have a MH I can go to these places whenever it suits, and still live here. Best of both worlds.

So many great places in France but our favourite regular stop is La Mailleraye-sur-Seine.
Great aire with plenty of space between marked pitches and two good boulangerie within a short walk for those morning croissant.

Wild camping in Shetland and knowing your the most northerly motorhome in the UK takes some beating for Ginny and me.

With MH Findochty in Scotland. Without the motorhome Momorangi Bay, Queen Charlotte Drive NZ.

I spent a month travelling around the South Island and yet although we landed in Picton we didn't turn North to see this place, I'm gutted now.

Why we love it is because I have cousin who owns a holiday home up on the hillside and view is amazing. Sorry you missed it.
