I wasn't going to post anything about this but it probably helps to talk about things so here goes.
Some may remember we lost our Jack Russell of seventeen years in March this year. We didn't rush out and get another dog but decided to try being dogless for a while.
After six months and realising being dogless didn't work for us we found a Patterdale/Border terrier cross near Monmouth and last Thursday we paid the owner a deposit and went off to a rally in Pembrokeshire, intending to pick the nine week old puppy on the way back.
On Friday we got a call from a very distressed lady, the pup had been stolen!
We dropped round there today to get our deposit back. The couple have an idea who might have taken it but have no proof. They were both, especially the husband, really cut up about it, as we were when we heard the news.
So, if you plan on breeding from your dog keep the litter under lock and key. There are criminals out there!
