My exterior temparature sensor is reading -21c today in Cambridgeshire!

Something tells me it's not quite accurate...

Does anybody know where the sensor would be located on an 'A' class Hymer S700 1997 model?

And possibly where a replacement might be purchased if necessary?

Slightly slow response: about four years! I expect you are sorted by now, but perhaps someone else has the same problem.

I think it will be the same as my 1999 model. It is by the door, just behind the electric steps. If you take the metal trim off under the door, the temperature sensor goes down the same hole that the step cables use. It looks like a black plastic transistor on a grey wire.[/QUOTE]

That's what I'd like to know!

Or (better still) what is the specification of this sensor when it is working properly? These things are very cheap if you buy them as electronic components.
